Hi I’m Sascha,

a weddding photographer based in Zurich – Switzerland.

I like risotto, coffee, rock climbing, small shops and bicycles. The sea and my beloved mountains are also always welcome.

Since 2012, I have been fortunate enough to be able to accompany people with my camera on one of their most exciting days.

My journey into the world of photography began in 2012 in Sydney, where I lived at the time. It was a friend’s wedding that started it all. Since then I have been able to accompany weddings all over the world, from Cape Town to Iceland… Here we are, 12 years and a few hundred weddings later, in Zurich.

I would like to use my work to create memories for you, your families, friends and future generations. Memories in the form of timeless, authentic images. Captured in the most honest way possible.

With the experience of several hundred weddings since 2012, I would be happy to help you in the planning process as much as possible to optimise timing on the day. To reflect the atmosphere of the day, coverage is usually needed for 7-10hours. Of course you don’t have to decide now how long you want me to be there; the coverage can be extended at any time in the process, or even on the wedding day.

I don’t charge travel fees within Switzerland.

Over the past 12 years I have shot weddings all over the world and happily continue to do so.

I would be happy to reserve your date for you after an introductory meeting. I will then send you my contract in which all the details will be recorded and a deposit will be agreed on. From then on your date is reserved.

The best way to clarify this question is in person (or Zoom) when we discuss your timeline in detail. Basically, my work is mostly documentary style, so you hardly have to plan any time for photos. For portraits of the bride and groom, the so-called “couple portraits”, 2×15 minutes are usually enough for me. The first 15min during cocktail hour and another 15min before sunset. Family photos tke another 10-15min. I’m happy to discuss this in a call and send you galleries from real weddings to make an example. Please get in touch.

As I’m a full time wedding photographer, I don’t have a Studio.

In fact, These days most of my weddings as a photographer are in Zurich, Lausanne, Lucerne, Bern and Ticino. But I’m always really happy to discover new places and different cultures.. Please get in touch.

You will receive a small preview a few days after the wedding. You will receive the complete gallery, as well as any slideshows etc. within 2-8 weeks. Albums take a little longer, but it’s worth it! “Express Lane” editing is available at additional cost, if you decide to ad this to your package, you will receive everything within 48h after the wedding.

Interesting topic 🙂 I firmly believe that no one needs more than 400-500 curated high-quality images. Depending on the number of guests and density of events, there may be more. For me it’s really about curating your day into a lively, authentic story and not about promising you 1200 photos to generate some “value” that doesn’t really exist. After we get to know each other, I would happily send you complete galleries of weddings that I covered as examples…It will then become clear what you’ll receive after your wedding. Happy to discuss.
